On Hold

The XX manage to do it again time after time, they create soundscapes that touch the human nature and experience and connect through pure honesty and truth. They don’t show themselves as perfect, they speak of their mistakes and bad choices and their abuse of power and love but they do so in a way that shows growth, regret and pure artistry. “On Hold” is a beautiful track for the broken hearts, the ignorance of youth and the regret that comes with maturity and learning of the error in our ways.
